We are looking for a Coldfusion Developer to support a long-term project with the development and maintenance of a highly visible system supporting the Department of Health and Human Services. You will be responsible for web application development including integration with database systems, custom configuration of web interfaces, development, and modification of web layouts, supporting various modernization efforts leveraging health data from more than 20 unique EHR systems and over 450 sending sites with multiple taxonomies. Current solutions will assist with the population health management and reporting of critical information for the purposes of improving patient outcomes and enable insight into information to respond, forecast and predict opportunities for change or improvement.
Position Type: Full-time or Part-time
Location: 100% Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $40 – $63/Hr

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new software components using ColdFusion ensuring functional, security and interoperability requirements are fully addressed
- Analyze software code and debug based on findings from test team and end users
- Conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing of the newly created applications.
- Analyze software code and debug based on findings from test team and end users and able to provide innovative, reasoned, and practical solutions to demanding requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4-10+ Years of experience working with ColdFusion
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar course area OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work under the supervision of a Technical Lead to support ColdFusion software development in a fast-pace environment.
- Understanding of XML/XLS Schemas
- Experience assessing requirements and recommending solutions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
- Must have understanding of systems architecture, database, websites, security etc
Bonus Qualifications:
- Prior Supervisory experience with the ability to provide thought leadership.
